Wet Room Flooring
A wet room is essentially a shower room with completely waterproof flooring to avoid the need for a shower tray. Water drains away into a single drainage point, which is usually on a slight gradient, located below the shower head.
There is no need for a step up in a wet room, making them ideal for wheelchair users and those with certain mobility needs. To be safe, wet room flooring has a slip resistant surface, flooring is also suitable for heavy foot traffic and continual water spillage.
